Name: Bryce Canyon Lamp
Image ID# 17

Description:
While walking after dusk in Zion, Utah, snow began to fall. I have to admit, my Southern California environment always leaves me in awe of the fluffy stuff. This night, I was particularly drawn to the light cast from a lantern post, how it reflected on the banked snow. The next morning, I woke regretting having passed up the photographic opportunity. Later, enroute to Bryce Canyon, I glimpsed a spot of light through the trees. To my surprise and delight, it led me to another light post. I often wonder...does missed opportunity enhance our curiosity by reminding us to look more closely on the next encounter?
